Jose Perez Self-Advocate Scholarship
Cal-TASH is proud to offer the Jose Perez Self-Advocate Scholarship. Jose was an ongoing presence at Cal-TASH. He loved to help out anyone and was a volunteer for the Cal-TASH opportunity drawings for more than 20 years. To help memorialize the passion that Jose brought to and shared at Cal-TASH conferences, part of the proceeds from each opportunity drawing will fund scholarships for self-advocates to attend future conferences.

Parent Scholarships
Cal-TASH is looking for parents of children or adults with disabilities who are:

-Committed to the values of inclusion
-Interested in attending the two-day conference
-Willing to bring what they learn back to their communities or parent groups to help spread their mission of inclusive communities for all.

These scholarships are open to those in the greater Sacramento area who have never attended a Cal-TASH conference. Cal-TASH is looking for individuals with the capacity to share their message with others due to their roles within parent organizations, schools, or their community. Scholarship recipients may be asked to comment on their experience or talk to future scholarship recipients. Preference will be given to individuals who represent historically underserved communities or who are affiliated with community groups that do.
