Great Opportunity for Youth with Muscular Dystrophy (Ages 16-22) April 26th, 2018
The John Kerr Foundation, along with Tuolumne Trails Campground, is again hosting its Life-Enhancing Retreat, July 12-15, 2018.
This 4-day Retreat, set in the beautiful foothills of Yosemite at a fully accessible campground, is an all-expenses-paid opportunity for a select group of young adults (ages 16-22) to participate in daily sessions covering valuable life skills, including information on; Independent Living, Higher Education, Employment, Dating and Relationships, Taking Charge of Healthcare, etc.
These sessions are led by adults who are living with Muscular Dystrophy and who are leading full, productive lives.
Personal Care Assistants are provided.
Applications are now available for qualified young adults who may have interest, and can be obtained by e-mailing [email protected] or by calling 916-730-8875.
