Seeking 'TED' Talk Style Speakers with Disabilities April 25th, 2018

The planning committee for the Raising Abuse Awareness Event on June 7, 2018 is looking for speakers to provide “TED”-style presentations, approximately 5 minutes in length.  This event will be held at the Tsakapoulos Library Galleria in downtown Sacramento, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

We are searching for individuals with disabilities or staff working in disability programs willing to share information about an abuse topic that includes solutions.  Examples might include: anti-bullying, a prevention-type program or service.  We do have 1 speaker already confirmed from the Institute on Aging in San Francisco, who will talk about Veterans Aid and Attendant Scam prevention.
